Remember that old English film Rhubarb? The one where the only dialogue throughout the entire movie was 'rhubarb'?I planted a couple of rhubarb rhizomes this morning, so fingers crossed that they grow for us.
The variety I planted is called "Ever Red". I prefer the red varieties over the pink or green ones, so I'm hoping it lives up to its name :-)

I also found some rhubarb growing wild up at the farm but found it too late to harvest. I think its really pretty, certainly hardy as the land hasn't been cared for in 3 years and yet it grows.
